Child & Family Therapist (Counselor) – Contract
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Licensed Counselor, Social Worker, or Child Therapist to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a clinician who loves working with children and families in a supportive, client-centered, and collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and/or family counseling to children, adolescents, and their caregivers.
Specialize in concerns like anxiety, emotional regulation, ADHD, behavioral issues, family transitions, and more.
Conduct clinical assessments and develop collaborative treatment plans.
Use developmentally appropriate, evidence-based interventions (CBT, play therapy, mindfulness, etc.).
Collaborate with caregivers and other providers (e.g., SLPs, OTs) as needed to support holistic care.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist license in Georgia (Required).
- Experience: 1+ years of experience working with children, teens, and families in a clinical setting. Training in child development or parent coaching.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, passion for creative approaches to therapy, collaborative approach.
