Child & Family Therapist (Counselor) – Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Licensed Counselor, Social Worker, or Child Therapist to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a clinician who loves working with children and families in a supportive, client-centered, and collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and/or family counseling to children, adolescents, and their caregivers.

  • Specialize in concerns like anxiety, emotional regulation, ADHD, behavioral issues, family transitions, and more.

  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop collaborative treatment plans.

  • Use developmentally appropriate, evidence-based interventions (CBT, play therapy, mindfulness, etc.).

  • Collaborate with caregivers and other providers (e.g., SLPs, OTs) as needed to support holistic care.


Qualifications:

  • Licensure: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist license in Georgia (Required).
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience working with children, teens, and families in a clinical setting.  Training in child development or parent coaching.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, passion for creative approaches to therapy, collaborative approach.
